Security footage shows the three girls waiting on a street corner before entering the van, which later drove 30 kilometers to the site where their bodies were hidden. The vehicle, abandoned and torched near Río Turbio, led investigators to the grim discovery.
Prosecutor Gastón Dupláa confirmed the girls were lured under false pretenses: “They were invited to an event—unaware they were walking into a trap set by a .”
Four suspects—Miguel Angel Villanueva Silva (27, Peruvian), Iara Daniela Ibarra (19), Andres Maximiliano Parra (18), and Magali Celeste Gonzalez Guerrero (28)—have been arrested on charges of aggravated homicide. Authorities believe the killings were by a criminal gang.
