South Carolina Teen Missing for Over a Month: Police Fear She’s in Danger

Mackenzie Dalton, 16, has vanished from her South Carolina home, leaving authorities deeply concerned for her safety.

According to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, deputies are urgently seeking information about the blonde-haired teen, who was last seen in late November. A Jan. 2 statement from authorities confirmed her disappearance, noting that her prolonged absence and young age have raised fears for her well-being.

Investigators believe Mackenzie left with a man she knows, though his identity and description have not been released. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department has recovered the car she drove away in and the suitcase she took, but her whereabouts remain unknown.

Mackenzie is 5-foot-4 and weighs 118 pounds. Authorities have not specified what she was wearing when last seen.
