Jennifer Lopez Names the Best On-Screen Kisser From a List of Hollywood Leading Men

Romantic comedy veteran Jennifer Lopez recently appeared on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” and took part in the famous “Plead The Fifth” segment. During the fan-favorite round, host Andy Cohen challenged the star to name her favorite on-screen kisser, listing six major co-stars: George Clooney, Matthew McConaughey, Ralph Fiennes, Richard Gere, and Owen Wilson.

Lopez has famously shared sizzling on-screen chemistry with many of these leading men. Her pairing with George Clooney in 1998’s Out of Sight remains an iconic cinematic duo. She found Box Office success opposite Matthew McConaughey in 2001’s The Wedding Planner and portrayed a working-class romantic lead opposite Ralph Fiennes in 2002’s Maid in Manhattan. Later, she starred with Richard Gere in the 2004 dance drama Shall We Dance? and, most recently, with Owen Wilson in 2022’s Marry Me.

The Surprising Choice

As Cohen ran through the list of her well-known collaborators, Lopez paused, clarifying that the kiss didn’t necessarily have to be from a romantic comedy. She then gave an answer that surprised everyone by naming a more recent co-star who was not on Cohen’s list: Brett Goldstein.

Lopez was referring to the Netflix romantic comedy “Office Romance,” which she announced in March 2025. Goldstein, known for Ted Lasso, joked about the chaotic filming experience near Lopez’s hometown, describing the paparazzi-filled outdoor shoot days as a “nightmare” and vowing to keep future scenes indoors.

Despite the stiff competition from some of Hollywood’s most legendary actors, Lopez’s pick for the best on-screen kisser was her newest collaborator, proving that great chemistry can emerge from the most unexpected pairings.
