Brennan Elliott Overwhelmed by Fan Support in First Hallmark Event After Wife’s Death

Hallmark star Brennan Elliott was deeply moved by the overwhelming affection from fans during the second weekend of the Hallmark Christmas Experience (HCE) in Kansas City, running December 5-7, 2025. The actor, featured in more than 20 Hallmark films, posted several Instagram videos on December 8 expressing gratitude for the heartfelt welcome upon his return.
Elliott’s previous Hallmark project was “His & Hers” alongside Lacey Chabert in fall 2024, shortly before his wife Camilla Row passed away from gastric cancer in March 2025 after an eight-year battle. Since then, he’s been navigating single parenthood with their children, 13-year-old Liam and 11-year-old Luna, while occasionally teasing upcoming work—making HCE his first major public outing in over a year.
Describing the response as beyond words, Elliott captioned one video of cheering crowds: “To say I am touched by the appreciation for the work, the roles and the movies that I have done would be an understatement. In a year that has been tough you all made me smile and warmed my heart!”
In his posts, Elliott hinted at more Hallmark movies ahead, reassuring worried supporters. One read: “Thank you @hallmarkchannel and all you supportive and loving fans! Till the next movie where we can go on another journey together!” Another, from the stage, stated: “THANKYOU for your warmth and love! It was an amazing time to feel your love… Can’t wait to bring you more! #happyholidays and till our next film journey together.”
Fans celebrated seeing him reconnect with co-stars like Chabert and engage joyfully, with comments like “How awesome what a wonderful feeling for you so much love ❤️😍🙌.”
Earlier in June, Hallmark stars Ashley Williams and Alison Sweeney, along with Benjamin Ayres’ Romance University, hosted an Instagram Live fundraiser for StandUp2Cancer to support Elliott’s family. They sold limited-edition t-shirts tied to Williams and Sweeney’s “To Barcelona” premiere, raising an impressive $5,625 through sales and donations.
Elliott, who has been choosier with roles to focus on family amid his wife’s illness and passing, remains a favorite. He’ll reunite with Hallmark peers and fans soon at Christmas Con in New Jersey, December 12-14.
