Conservative Commentator Charlie Kirk Tragically Killed At 31

Charlie Kirk, a well-known conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA, has died at age 31 after being shot during an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.
He was speaking from his “Prove Me Wrong” table, part of his “American Comeback Tour,” when a single bullet struck him in the neck. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he was later pronounced dead.
Estimates suggest that around 3,000 people were at the event. Clips circulated quickly that show the moment of the shooting — he recoiled, blood visible, people reacted with chaos. Law enforcement believe the shot came from a rooftop or high location nearby.
Authorities are investigating, treating the incident as political violence. There is a manhunt underway for the shooter, though no confirmed suspect has yet been charged with the shooting.
Charlie Kirk was survived by his wife Erika and their two children. He was prominent for his work engaging young conservatives on college campuses, hosting a daily podcast, and his leading roles in Turning Point USA and related organizations.
