Bianca Censori Addresses Rumors About Kanye ‘Controlling’ Her and Explains Her Signature ‘Nude’ Style

Bianca Censori has finally broken her silence on allegations that her husband, Kanye West (now known as Ye), exerts control over her—and clarified the true meaning behind her frequent “nude” fashion choices.
Censori, 31, is an Australian architect who married the rapper in a private ceremony in 2022. The two first crossed paths in 2020 when she joined his Yeezy brand, leading the architecture division. She later relocated to Los Angeles, where their relationship blossomed after she realized they were “so similar”—a connection that formed while Ye was in the midst of separating from Kim Kardashian.
Since going public as a couple, their relationship has sparked widespread online speculation. Ye himself previously addressed the rumors on X, stating: “People say the red carpet look was her decision… Yes, I don’t make her do anything she doesn’t want to, but she definitely wouldn’t have been able to do it without my approval.”

Now, in a striking new interview with Vanity Fair—where she posed nude on horseback in a clear homage to Lady Godiva—Censori directly confronted the narrative that she’s being controlled.
“I wouldn’t be doing something I didn’t want to do,” she asserted.
She went on to explain that her bold looks are a joint creative effort: “My husband and I work on my outfits together. It’s a collaboration—it’s never been about me being told what to wear.”
Censori has frequently appeared alongside Ye at high-profile events, often turning heads with her ultra-revealing ensembles. On multiple occasions, her attire has been so sheer or skin-toned that it gave the illusion she was wearing nothing at all.
A standout moment came at the 2025 Grammys, where she wore a translucent dress matched precisely to her skin tone, creating the effect of complete nudity. In stark contrast, Ye opted for full-coverage outfits—often baggy tracksuits—that stood in sharp opposition to her minimalist aesthetic.
Censori emphasized that her affinity for nudity predates her relationship with Ye. “I’ve always had an obvious obsession with nudity,” she said. “I was naked everywhere. I never disconnected from it—not once. I’ve consistently shown the same imagery, over and over again.”
The 31-year-old described her life as an extension of her art: “I live my artwork.”
While some critics have labeled her style as “attention-seeking” or “tacky,” Censori remains unfazed by the backlash.
“I’ve never gone home and cried myself to sleep over anything anyone’s said,” she shared. “What fascinates me is when someone’s reaction doesn’t match my intention—because that reveals what’s inside them.”
She recalled a conversation where someone told her, “Your intention was lost.”
“And that’s okay,” she said. “It doesn’t matter. What mattered was that I got to express myself.”
