American Tycoon Gives $99,999 to Courageous Bondi Savior

An American billionaire has contributed $99,999 to the online appeal supporting 43-year-old Ahmed Al Ahmed, the brave individual captured on video tackling and disarming one of the assailants in the horrific Bondi incident.

“Having seen the remarkable bravery of the man who aided in neutralizing one of the perpetrators amid the Bondi horror—an effort that undoubtedly spared numerous additional victims—we knew we had to contribute,” stated Car Hub Australia and Zachery Dereniowski, the campaign initiators, on Al Ahmed’s GoFundMe page.

“In the midst of turmoil and peril, he charged ahead without a second thought.”

“His response was purely altruistic, spontaneous, and profoundly valiant, ignoring all personal risk.”

The drive kicked off with a $50,000 lead gift from its creators.

Within under a day, it amassed over 13,800 contributions, rocketing past $950,000.

The largest single pledge hailed from Jewish financier William Ackman, hedge fund leader and head of Pershing Square Capital Management.
