Woman Orchestrates Husband’s Murder on Their Honeymoon in a Twisted Plot of Deceit

A honeymoon in the scenic hills of Shillong, India, ended in a brutal murder orchestrated by the bride, Sonam. Her husband, businessman Raja Raghuvanshi, was killed after she lured him to the location. The investigation began when the couple went missing and Raja’s body was later discovered in a gorge, stripped of his identification and wedding ring.
Police uncovered that Sonam had conspired with her secret lover, Raj Kushwaha, and three other men to carry out the murder. She fed them her husband’s location via text messages, and it is believed Raja was pushed from a cliff to make his death appear accidental. After the killing, Sonam returned home, but evidence revealed she was also involved with a third man and had planned to eliminate her accomplice, Kushwaha, next.
Sonam was arrested after cell phone records provided a damning digital trail of her coordination with the killers. She later confessed to the crime. The case has shocked the nation as a chilling example of premeditated betrayal, where the symbol of a honeymoon was used as a cover for a cold-blooded murder driven by manipulation and deceit.
