Donald Trump and Melania Trump arrived in the UK on Tuesday evening for a three-day state visit. Upon landing in Windsor, they were greeted by Prince William and King Charles. The Princess of Wales drew attention for her graceful appearance, and it seemed the president took notice, making a brief three-word comment to Kate as they shook hands.
Trump and the First Lady touched down in the UK Tuesday night, staying at Windsor Castle during the first part of their visit.
The state visit officially began on Wednesday. Although King Charles had sent an official invitation back in July, the first royal to welcome the Trumps was not the king or Queen Camilla.
As they disembarked from Marine One, the couple was met by Prince William and Kate Middleton. The Princess of Wales earned praise not only for her etiquette during the encounter but also for her sophisticated style.
