New Rules for Tennessee Fans at College GameDay

ESPN’s “College GameDay” is returning to Knoxville on September 13th for the SEC opener between No. 15 Tennessee and No. 3 Georgia. The three-hour broadcast will begin at 9 a.m. ET, but the pit for fans will open at 6:30 a.m. and will be first-come, first-served. Fans are encouraged to bring creative signs, but there are some important rules to follow.
All signs will be inspected before entry, and fans must follow these rules:
- No vulgarity
- No web domains
- No politics or religion
- No signs on sticks or oversized signs
Attending “College GameDay” is free and does not require a ticket. However, a valid game ticket is required for the 3:30 p.m. kickoff at Neyland Stadium. This event is a statement for the Tennessee Volunteers, as this high-stakes game against the defending conference champs will show how far the team has come.
