My husband, Eric, abandoned me on the side of the road while I was eight months pregnant. A stranger named Dana found me and made sure I reached the hospital safely. We discovered that Vanessa was the daughter of the wealthy businessman who had purchased Eric’s struggling company three months earlier. Eric had deliberately used his hidden relationship with her to secure the sale while concealing the fact that he was married.

A breaking news notification soon confirmed that the investor had learned the truth and immediately removed Eric from his leadership role within the company.
